Two Sundays ago my uncle passed away. He was buried on Valentine's day. At the wake there was a banner outside to welcome guests. In it was written "In memory of the legend." Truly he was a legend in his community and to the many that attended his wake to show last respects and bid him farewell. He and his family were very modest in their living. Yet the legacy he left behind was not of money or power, but of good will to his neighbors and to his friends. More importantly to his family. A legend he will be remembered.
