Me and my sister saw The Princess and The Frog a few weeks ago, and you might say it's for kids or little girls - but its not, its for everyone - and it was brilliant! As far as i know, not too long ago Disney gave up on doing traditional 2D animation. But i sure am very glad that they changed their minds. Their comeback (The Princess and The Frog) was magnificent! The story, although taken from a classic was made more interesting and engaging. The animation was flawless! Many instances at the movie i just stared and looked in amazement at how wonderfully it looked. I was at awe at the people who made it. The music was great. The voice acting was terrific. It was awesome! I haven't appreciated an animated 2D movie like this in a long time.
I love a good story, specially when that story is told well. Disney definitely told this story in their own way beautifully. I'm happy they are doing 2D again, and i look forward to the next one. Even if they take their time in doing a next one, as long as its as good or better than this - it's okay! Until then....
